The Parvada Experience
From orchards to villages — stories waiting to be lived.

Temple Trails & Himalayan Views

Mukteshwar Dham & Chauli-ki-Jali
About 35–40 minutes from Parvada, through the old hill town of Mukteshwar, lies the 350-year-old Mukteshwar Mahadev Temple, reached by a short walk through cedar and pine. Here, you can sit in silence, gaze across the valley, and listen to temple bells mingling with birdsong. Right beside the temple, Chauli-ki-Jali cliffs offer sweeping Himalayan views—perfect for a gentle walk, reflection, or simply soaking in the mountain air.

Yoga & Calm in the Hills

Movement, reflection, and mountain light
Parvada is home to Shri Umed Singh Ji, one of Uttarakhand’s most respected yoga gurus. His gentle guidance brings depth to every session, whether at our hilltop terrace at sunrise or in the panoramic Pinewood Meditation Hall in the Quinta. Private classes and custom retreats with mindful meals, orchard walks, and meditation sessions are available on request.

Village Life & Local Wisdom

Meet the people who live here
The village of Parvada lies just a short stroll away, where life unfolds gently among stone paths and slate-roofed homes. • Visit the Local School: Drop in for a morning of reading, sketching, or simply observing. • Anganwadi Encounters: Learn about India’s grassroots childcare and nutrition network. • Kut ki Chai Moments: Share a cup of tea in a local home—stories and smiles come free.

Walks, Heritage Trails & Picnics

From British-era groves to secret forest clearings
• Parvada & Beyond – Begin with a stroll through our own fruit trees before exploring neighbouring heritage orchards dating back to the 1850s. Forest paths along the way lead to quiet picnic spots—whether reached by a short drive or a scenic hike, we’ll pack baskets so you can enjoy the hills in perfect solitude. • Literary Ramgarh – Extend your day with a visit to Meera Kutir, the home-turned-museum of poet Mahadevi Verma, and a gentle trek to Tagore Top, where Rabindranath Tagore once stayed and wrote, framed by sweeping Himalayan views

Evenings by Firelight

Slow sunsets, folk music, and mountain air
As the sun dips behind the ridges, evenings at Parvada are about gathering, warmth, and joy. • Bonfires & Stargazing: Cozy up on our sunset terrace with stories, songs, and sky. • Local Music Nights: Enjoy Kumaoni folk tunes by local musicians under the stars.

Seakho Haat – Made in Parvada

Crafts and care from local hands
Our village women’s collective brings hand-knit and crocheted creations, preserves, pickles, and produce to pop-up haats (markets) at the estate. A wonderful way to support local talent and carry home a piece of Parvada.
