Monsoon – Monsoon in the hills can be a beautiful sight to behold. The rain washed trees and the numerous natural rain water springs that emerge after the rains are one of the most beautiful and rarest sights that will please you. Heavy monsoon rains happen between end June to August or early September. During the rainy season in the hills, the temperature tends to dip.
Summer Clothing – Thermal wear is not required in the summer. The weather tends to get nippy if in shade or if it rains, so recommend a jacket be carried at all times. Light to medium jackets or woollens are recommended. It is advisable to carry a cap at all times. Cotton or nylon socks and walking shoes recommended
Winter Clothing – heavy woollens, thermal wear, gloves and cap required at all times. Woollen socks and sturdy shoes recommended.
The onset of monsoon creates a lovely misty look with clouds floating around you. The hills are green and there is a profusion of flowers all around. The nicest part of the hills is that in the summer, one can escape the heat of the plains and come to the misty, dreamy mountains and in the winter, when the plains have no sun, the hills have bright sunshine through the day. Parvada Bungalows warm interiors would never allow you to feel cold.
The fruit trees start bearing fruit right from mid April to end September. We encourage our guests to ask our team to serve fresh fruits with our compliments. Fruit trees normally shed their leaves and dry up completely in the winter, hibernating during the cold weather.
